About HinToday
Free · updated daily · independent
HinToday publishes daily hints and answers for popular online puzzle games. The idea is simple: help you get un-stuck without spoiling the fun. Every puzzle page opens its hints one step at a time — category, length, first letter — and only shows the full answer if you choose to reveal it.
We started with Contexto and are steadily adding more daily games. The site is completely free, needs no account, and is designed to be fast and lightweight so you can grab a hint in seconds and get back to the puzzle.
How we source our answers
Accuracy matters most on an answer site, so we don't guess. For each game, our system reads the official daily puzzle and publishes the confirmed answer, then builds the progressive hints from the word itself and a dictionary source. Everything updates automatically the moment a new puzzle goes live, so the page you land on always matches the puzzle you're actually playing today.
Where a game exposes extra data — like Contexto's closest words by meaning — we include it so you can learn from the solve, not just copy the answer. Our difficulty ratings are our own quick, consistent estimate based on the word's length, part of speech, and how many close meaning-neighbours it has.
Spoiler-safe by design
Plenty of answer sites dump the solution at the top of the page. We don't. The answer always sits behind a tap you control, and the hints are laddered from vague to specific, so a quick look for a nudge won't ruin the puzzle. It's the way we'd want to be helped ourselves.
Independence
HinToday is an independent site run by a small team of daily-puzzle enthusiasts. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game publisher. Game names are used descriptively, only to refer to the puzzles we cover, and remain the trademarks of their respective owners.
The site is supported by unobtrusive display advertising, which keeps every answer free for everyone. See our Privacy Policy for how that works.
